UPLAND, Calif. - A twin-engine plane lost power and slammed into homes today while approaching Cable Airport in Upland for landing. The plane came to a rest atop a garage and there was no fire. A wing is atop the roof of another home. There were minor to moderate injuries reported but no fatalities. The Piper Seneca was approaching the airport when it lost power and crashed into three homes on Blossom Circle. Weather doesn't appear to have been a factor.
